Centaur

Centaurs are highly intelligent, free-living beings who usually travel in small nomadic groups rather than permanent settlements. Their communities move with the seasons, following established routes between grazing grounds, water sources and trading regions.

They are skilled travellers and exceptionally well adapted to long distances and difficult terrain. Centaurs are also known as accomplished archers, combining speed and mobility with excellent balance and accuracy.

Trade with Liret is well established. Centaur groups regularly exchange news, practical goods and materials with the settlement, particularly cloth, harness, oils, medicines and crafted items. Relations with the people of Liret are generally good.

Outside Liret, centaurs are considerably less welcoming towards humans. They tend to avoid human settlements and are slow to trust outsiders, preferring their own routes and company.
